The LEADER+ Territories (point
7.2 of the National Programme) are structured by Federating
Theme (point
5.1.3.b of the National Programme) previously selected by the
LAG. They may not coincide with the existing administrative division.
The selection (point
7.2) of the 52 territories is based on the following criteria:
 Size of
the area
Rural
nature of the territory
Homogeneity
of the territory
Major Themes:
Improving
the quality of life in rural areas
Promotion
of associated organisations in rural areas
Adding
value to local products
Making
the bet use of natural and cultural resources
Use of
new know-how and technologies
